Raiders make roster moves
A couple of busy days in Prince Albert as they announced the official signing of a trio of players. Signed are 2008-born forward Malaki Martin (6GP, 0G, 1A with Prince Albert 2025-27), 2007-born forward Eli Molde (3GP with Prince Albert), and 2006-born defenceman Jordan Murray (5GP, 0G, 3A with Prince Albert). Molde is committed to Air Force Academy for the 2027-28 NCAA season.
The Raiders also announced that they have released 2006-born defenceman Carsyn Dyck (108GP, 15G, 24A with Prince Albert and Portland from 2022-26). He had one goal through three games with the Raiders this season.
Everett makes Brown signing official
2008-born forward Reid Brown has officially signed a WHL Scholarship and Development Agreement with the Everett Silvertips. Brown, from Calgary, Alberta, has suited up for three contests with the Silvertips this season. Last season in the Alberta Elite Hockey League (AEHL U18) he taillied four goals and 22 assists through 38 regular season games and added another two goals and three assists in seven playoff matchups.
Oil Kings reduce roster by one
The Edmonton Oil Kings announced that they have reassigned 2009-born goaltender Rail Schollar to the Calgary Northstars of AEHL U18. The seventh round 2024 draft pick played in one game with the Alberta Junior Hockey League’s Grande Prairie Storm this season, posting a 3.69 goals-against average, a .852 save percentage, while earning a win.
Kuntz reassigned by Blades
Winnipeg, MB product, Spencer Kuntz (3GP with Saskatoon 2026-27) has been reassigned to the Virdin Oil Capitals of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League by the Saskatoon Blades. The sixth round 2024 WHL Draft selection played 30 games with RINK HA Winnipeg U18 Prep of CSSHL U18 during the 2025-26 season where he scored six times and added 19 assists.
Oil Kings staffing changes
On Monday, the Edmonton Oil Kings announced the departure of their Head Strength and Conditioning Coach, Melissa Lowe whom had been with the organization for eight seasons. Promoted from Assistant to Head Strength and Conditioning coach is Mason Kenny. 2026-27 will be his second year with the club.
